Maintenance:

    A complete engine overhaul of the Continental TSIO-550-C-C1B is currently in progress at a certified facility, including compliance with all applicable ADs and LTAs, dual FAA/EASA release, and a two-year engine warranty without flight-hour limitation.     Three historical events are documented in the records: an early lightning strike in 1986 without subsequent findings, a nose landing gear collapse in 1998 with component replacement and inspection, and a minor hangar-related propeller blade damage in 2012 while the engine was not running.
